When you're preparing to travel overseas, Hope Urgent Care Clinic can provide the immunizations you need to stay healthy in transit. The vaccines you'll receive depend on the country you're traveling to. We offer a Doctor's visit and immunizations for all kinds of travelers, including:
We recommend you visit Hope Urgent Care Clinic at least three months before you are scheduled to travel. Most vaccines take at least 10 days to become effective. You need to make an appointment for a Doctor's visit to get an order for immunizations, or you can bring in an order from your primary care physician. After the Doctor's visit, the doctor will determine which vaccines you need, such as Hepatitis A and B, influenza, typhoid, polio and malaria. Our yellow fever vaccine supply is low at this time due to a yellow fever outbreak in Brazil. Our Travax system is updated daily according to information from the CDC.
